Transportation in shanghai
The main public transportation in Shanghai includes buses and subways. Refer to Figure 1 for the subway system in Shanghai. Please visit http://www.exploreshanghai.com/metro for a larger, adjustable map. There are 13 subway lines; the colored legend is provided in the figure. The metro station near ECNU is Jin Sha Jiang Rd. Station; Lines 3, 4, and 13 go to Jin Sha Jiang Rd. Station. Please refer to Figure 2.
From Pudong International Airport to ECNU, the most convenient way is to take Airport Shuttle No. 6 and then call a taxi. There are taxies at the terminal of Airport Shuttle No. 6. It is very convenient for you to get a taxi when you get off the airport shuttle. You may also directly call a taxi when you walk out of the airport. It will be more expensive than taking the Airport Shuttle first and then taking a taxi. The three taxi companies providing the best service are:

When you take a taxi, show the following address to the taxi driver: 中山北路3663号华东师范大学 (Chinese spelling: Zhōngshān běi lù, 3663 hào, Huádōng Shīfàn Dàxué). He/she will take you directly to the university gate.
