Visa Information
Chinese government issues F visas to those who intend to go to China for exchanges, visits, study tours, and other activities. To apply for an F visa, you need to prepare the basic documents including:
- a passport
- a visa application form
- a photo
- a photocopy of previous Chinese visas; and
- an invitation letter issued by East China Normal University from China.
The invitation letter needs to contain:
- Applicant's personal information (full name, gender, date of birth, etc.)
- Information on the planned visit (purpose of visit, arrival and departure dates, place(s) to be visited, relations between the applicant and the inviting entity or individual, financial source for expenditures)
- Information on the inviting entity or individual (name, contact telephone number, address, official stamp, signature of the legal representative or the inviting individual)

To those who are not applying for the visa in their own countries of citizenship, you need to also provide the proof of legal stay or residence status in the country where you apply for the visa.
